Chris Luckey, President

Chris Luckey serves as the Technical Manager – Brushes for Helwig Carbon Products. Chris oversees day-to-day operations as well as hiring in the Brush Design Engineering department as well as the Drafting department at Helwig, which produces sliding electrical products for a wide range of applications. Chris graduated from MSOE in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and has gained a variety of experiences in the Engineering field in both Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering, including Design for Manufacturability for machining and high volume assembly operations. Chris is involved with several organizations helping to improve Southeast Wisconsin’s manufacturing and engineering sectors and communities. He serves on the WCTC (Waukesha County Technical College) AST/Mechatronics Advisory Committee and Manufacturing Engineering Technology Advisory Committee, is the chairman of the WEPA Board

George Forish, Treasurer

Earned my Bachelor’s degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, in 1975.

Earned my Master’s degree in Business Administration from Marquette University in 1982.

Job #1: Allis Chalmers Corp, West Allis, WI. 1975 – 1982. Engineering Trainee to Sr. Process Engineer in the West Allis Foundry Plant. 
Job #2: General Casting Corp, Waukesha, WI. 1983 – 1985. Process Engineer and Pattern Shop Supervisor. 
Job #3: Precision Pattern Co., Inc., West Allis, WI. 1985 to present. Sales Engineer, Vice President and finally as President since 2011.
Job #4: Retired. Sold my interest in Precision Pattern in August, 2020 to my Partner so he could take the business forward. Remain very involved as a consulting "been there-done that old guy".

Other activities:
1)      Member, Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers. 1974 – present.
2)      Member, American Foundry Society – Wisconsin Chapter. 1977 – present. Have served on the Board of Directors and am currently Treasurer of the Chapter.
3)      Volunteer at Waukesha South High School. Was on Site Council starting at least 10 years ago. Then on to the WEPA Governance Board. Currently hold the Treasurer’s position.

Dr. Luis Rodriguez

Luis G Rodriguez is an Emeritus Associate Professor of Engineering at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Waukesha. Additionally, he has also worked at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and MSOE University. He has done research and taught courses in the areas of Mechanics, Computer Graphics, Numerical Methods and STEM Teaching & Learning Methodologies. He graduated with a B.Sc. in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology (ITESM) and earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he did research in Robotics Collision Avoidance. He is also active in the Waukesha community having served in Boards of Directors for several social service and educational organizations.

Nancy Farrell

Nancy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (with a Biomedical engineering emphasis) from Purdue University in 1981.  Upon graduation, she began her work at GE Medical Systems in the Edison Engineer program.  In 1984, she completed her Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University.

During her fourteen years at GE, Nancy spent most of her time working as a Systems Engineer for the Magnetic Resonance product.  

At GE, she met her husband, Brian. Upon having children, Nancy chose to leave GE and home-school her children through 8th grade.  When her oldest son enrolled in WEPA, Nancy began serving on the Waukesha Engineering Preparatory Academy (WEPA) Governance Board.  Her 2nd son also enrolled in WEPA.

Nancy joins her husband Brian in serving as mentors for CORE 2062 – the School District of Waukesha’s high school robotics team.

Ashley Miller

Ashley is an experienced Senior Industrial Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the electrical manufacturing industry. She has over 15 years experience and is skilled in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Engineering. She has a strong operations background and has  a Master of Engineering - MEng focused in Industrial Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Ashley is also a leader of FeMADE, a subcommittee of MADE focusing on providing mentorship to females interested in Engineering. She is currently employed at Prolec GE in Waukesha.

Ben Rolfs

Ben has over 20 years of experience in lean manufacturing and has led Manufacturing, Project Management, and Engineering teams that strive to exceed customer expectations. Ben has experience implementing and working in ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 environments. Ben is a people-first leader that develops high performing teams along with scalable and repeatable processes. He works with employees and customers to understand their needs and is passionate about building strong partnerships that collaborate on continuous improvement.

Jennifer Kojis

Jennifer joined the WEPA board in 2021 as a parent representative. She has a son that attends the Waukesha Engineering Preparatory Academy and a daughter who attends the Waukesha Academy of Health Professions. She graduated from UW Milwaukee with a Bachelors in Graphic design. Jennifer is currently working at Collins Aerospace as an assembler.

Matt Smith

Matt has been on the WEPA board since 2017. He is currently working as a Test Engineering Manager at Generac Power Systems since 2019. Matt earned his bachelors degree in mechanical engineering technology from Milwaukee School of Engineering in 2002.

Andy Agenten

Andy joined the WEPA board in 2020 as both a parent representative and Industrial Engineer. His son attends the Waukesha Engineering Preparatory Academy and his daughter attends the Waukesha Academy of Health Professions. Andy is a graduate of UW Milwaukee with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. He is currently working as a Senior Industrial Engineer at Prolec GE Waukesha Incorporated for the past 20 years.
