    Senior Honors Night - Wednesday, May 20th, 2020.  

    Has your senior received any type of scholarship from the college, university or technical school they will be attending this fall?  Have they received any type of community, business, civic or academic scholarships? If so, we look forward to celebrating these accomplishments at Senior Honors Night.  Senior Honors Night will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in the North Auditorium.   Please have your student bring a copy of their notification letter to Ms. Wilkum or Ms. Werner in Student Services AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so we can recognize your student appropriately at Senior Honors Night.    Please also use this LINK:  Senior Honors Info Sheet   to print off the Senior Honors Night Information Sheet, answer the questions and attach it to your notification letter prior to turning it in. This information will be used to describe your scholarship at Senior Honors Night.  The deadline to hand in both the award letters and the information sheet will be May 8th, 2020. Notifications submitted after our due date may only be listed in our commencement program.  If you have any questions, please contact Student Services.



    Scholarships in this area are only open to Waukesha North seniors, which means that someone in the Class of 2020 will earn each one!

    Anthony J. Bralick Scholarship

    This scholarship is a memorial to Anthony J. Bralick so his family can continue his tradition of teaching and learning. Applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines: History, Education, Economics, Political Science, Pre-Law or Philosophy. Applicant needs to be a senior in the upper half of their class and needs a letter of recommendation from a past or current Social Studies teacher. 1 @ up to $1,000.  Requires an essay of 1,000 words.

    Girl Talk Academic Scholarship $500

    This scholarship is available to ANY North student who has a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.  Please fill out the application, which includes two essays, and return it by the deadline.

    Girl Talk American Dreamer Scholarship $500

    This scholarship is available to any North student who is on a path to U.S. residency, has a cumulative grade point average of a 2.0, and who will be attending some level of higher education in the fall of 2020.   Please see the application for specfic details, including the essay prompt.

    William A. Baumgart “Excellence in Education” Scholarship -  $500.00

    SELECTION CRITERIA- All applicants must:

    (1)   Have completed (or be currently enrolled in) Waukesha County Technical College Transcripted Credit or Youth Options course – having earned a grade of “C” or better.

    (2)   Be on-track to graduate from a School District of Waukesha high school during the 2019/2020 school year, with a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher.

    (3)   Submit a completed scholarship application by the due date (April 15, 2020).

    •  Application must include TWO Recommendation Forms (Forms Attached).
    •  In addition, 2-3 Letters of Recommendation are encouraged

    Waukesha County Labor Council Scholarship Award


    The Waukesha County Labor Council is awarding two $500.00 scholarships for use in any accredited college, university, or business college approved by the selection committee. 

    Eligibility Requirements:  

    Scholarships are limited to members of families who belong to a local union affiliated with the Waukesha County Labor Council AFL-CIO. 

    Eligible is any student who is a senior in any High School graduating between January 1st and July 1st. whose parent or guardian is a member of a local union affiliated with the Waukesha County Labor Council AFL-CIO. 

    The applicant must rank in the upper ½ of their graduating class. 

    The scholarship is completely unrestricted as to sex, race, religion or political affiliation. 

    Criteria used to determine the winner of this scholarship will be based on academic excellence and need. 

    All applicants must take either the SAT or ACT test to qualify. The fee required for the administration of the tests must be borne by the applicant. 

    The selection committee, whose decision will be final, will decide all matters pertaining to this contest. No correspondence in relation to this competition can be undertaken. The winners will be notified of the award and will be expected to accept the award during the announcement at the May Labor Council meeting held on the 4th Tuesday of the month. 

    Applications are available through the high school counselor, affiliated Local Unions or from the Waukesha County Labor Council Secretary. 

    Completed applications must be forwarded to the Labor Council Secretary and be at the office no later than 3:00 pm on the Monday preceding the 4th Wednesday of the month of April. 

    The winners of the scholarships will be awarded a check upon presenting evidence of enrollment at an accredited college, university, or business school approved by the selection committee.

    The Classroom to Classroom Scholarship

    Education.com is on a mission to make an impact in the lives of aspiring teachers in America. Once a year, Education.com awards a graduating high school student with a $5,000 scholarship to further their educational goals. To apply, students must meet the following eligibility requirements:

    • Must be a United States citizen or Permanent Resident.

    • Open to students from all states.

    • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

    • Accepted as a full-time student at a 2-year, 4-year, or technical vocational college or university in the United States for the 2020-2021 academic year. We will require proof of enrollment.
