Wisconsin Association of Cheer & POMS Coaches (WACPC)

  • Description:

    WACPC is proud to offer up to twenty-individual-$1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors who are involved in the sport of CHEER or DANCE TEAM.

Wisconsin State USBC Scholarship Application

  • Description: 

    ELIGIBILITY RULES

    1. Must be a graduating high school senior.
    2. Is currently a certified member of the Wisconsin State USBC and actively bowling in a certified youth league within the jurisdiction of the Wisconsin State USBC.
    3. Applicant must have a good record in USBC and WIAA in high school activities.
    4. Application must be filled out in a concise and orderly manner with complete information as required before March 15, 2022

American Legion Schneider-Emanuel Scholarship

  • Description:

    The American Legion, Department of Wisconsin Schneider-Emanuel scholarship offers to three (3) deserving graduates the sum of $1,000 to be applied to the cost of continuing education. 

    Applicant must either be;

    • A SON/DAUGHTER whose Father, Mother, or Legal Guardian is living and a current member of The American Legion, The American Legion Auxiliary, or The Sons of The American Legion at the time of application.
    • A GRANDSON/GRANDDAUGHTER whose Grandfather, Grandmother, or Legal Guardian is living and a current member of The American Legion, The American Legion Auxiliary, or The Sons of The American Legion at the time of application.

The Wisconsin Title I Association

Wisconsin Security Association (WISA)

  • Description:

    The Wisconsin Security Association (WISA), is pleased to announce the availability of two college scholarships for graduating seniors whose parents are full-time, active members of a Wisconsin police or fire department. One $1,500 Youth Scholarship will be awarded to a son/daughter of an active-duty police department member and one to a son/daughter of an active-duty fire department member. Since 2010 WISA has awarded $28,000 in scholarships.

Kohler Credit Union

  • Description:

    • Student or parents must be Kohler Credit Union members prior January 1, 2022.
    • Student must have a cumulative high school grade point of at least 3.25 (on a 4-point scale).
    • Student must have definite plans to attend a 4-year college or university full-time in the state of Wisconsin.
    • Student must have a high school record that indicates achievement and high standards in scholarship, character, leadership, citizenship, and involvement in school and community activities.

    The digital application will become available to students on our website on January 3, 2022 (kohlercu.com/scholarships). The application deadline for the 2022 scholarships is March 14, 2022.

    Award Amount: $10,000 (The $10,000 scholarship will be awarded to students in renewable installments of $2500 each school year for up to four years.)

Young Women in Public Affairs Scholarship

  • Description:

    The Zonta Club of Milwaukee offers three college scholarship opportunities for young women and college students living in and/or attending accredited schools in southeastern Wisconsin including: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, Washington, Racine and Kenosha counties. Aimed at pre-university or pre-college students (ages 16-19), this tri-level (club/district/international) scholarship competition was designed to encourage
    more young women to participate in Public Affairs and Political Life.

    Applicants must show their active commitment to volunteerism and provide evidence of their volunteer leadership achievements,as well as their dedication to advancing the status of women.

    The Zonta Club of Milwaukee awards a $1,000 scholarship and forwards the winner’s application to Zonta District 6 for consideration for an additional $1,000 scholarship award. The district winner’s application is sent on to Zonta International for consideration for one of the ten $4,000 international scholarship awards.

Wisconsin FFA Foundation Scholarship

  • Description:

    • Applicants must use the current year Wisconsin FFA Foundation Post-Secondary Scholarship Application to be eligible for scholarship selection.
    • Please complete the electronic application, proof it carefully for errors, print and get the required signatures, and mail the complete application to the Wisconsin FFA Foundation.
    • Do not change the font size to less than 10 pt in any part of the application.
    • Use only the space provided plus a one page statement of support.
    • Do not place application in any type of binder or cover.

    1. Only one application is needed per applicant. The scholarship selection committee will consider all applicants for any scholarships for which they qualify.
    2. All scholarship recipients will be listed in a press release that will contain their name, scholarship awarded, and chapter affiliation after the selection process.
    3. Scholarships will be paid after successful completion of the first semester and upon receipt of second semester registration. An official college transcript is required. The full amount of Short Course Scholarships will be paid after successful completion of the course.

    5. The applicant must be a member in good standing of the Wisconsin Association of FFA through membership in a recognized FFA Chapter.
    6. The applicant must be at least a senior in high school, or already enrolled in college, and have maintained a satisfactory scholastic record in school.
    7. The applicant must major in a program offered through an accredited university or technical college with special consideration given to students with interests in agriculture, unless specified by the sponsor.

American Legion Department of WI Americanism and Government Scholarship

  • Description:

    What is it? 
    The test consists of 50 questions; true/false, multiple choice, matching, and an essay question that must be answered in order to qualify for the scholarships. Students are not allowed to use outside resources for answers while taking this test.

    When is it?
    Test may be taken anytime between March 8-19, 2021

    Who is eligible?
    Any student in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade, who is enrolled in any public, private, parochial or home-school, in the State of Wisconsin may participate. Students may only take the test 1 time per year; howerver, students may participate all 3 years and be eligible for the scholarships for multiple years.

    What are the scholarship opportunities?
    Annually, 33 winners are selected by the Americanism Committee of The American Legion, Department of Wisconsin.  The following scholarships are awarded:
                                        11 students in Grade 10 receive $250 scholarships

                                        11 students in Grade 11 receive $300 scholarships

                                        11 students in Grade 12 receive $750 scholarships

UW-Credit Union Scholarship

    Each year, UW Credit Union awards ten $3,000 scholarships to student members who share our commitment to making our communities stronger and better places to live.

    • Applicants must be new or returning full-time undergraduate students attending a UW System school, Madison College or Edgewood College in the fall of the application year.
    • Applicants must be members of UW Credit Union for at least 6 months from application deadline, either individually or joint on an account with a parent or guardian, and their account must be in good standing.

  • Description:

    The Wisconsin 4-H Foundation will award more than $15,000 in scholarships to outstanding Wisconsin 4-H members and alumni pursuing higher education in 2020. To be considered for financial support, applications must be received via email by the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation on or before March 15, 2021, 5:00PM.

    Wisconsin 4-H Foundation scholarships are awarded to students based on demonstrated personal growth, development and leadership in 4-H, academic performance and future educational goals.

    To be eligible for Wisconsin 4-H Foundation scholarships:

    • Students must have been a Wisconsin 4-H member for at least three years;
    • Have a grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale;
    • Be enrolled or planning to enroll at a university, college or technical school during the 2021-2022 academic school year.

Wisconsin State Fair Dairy Promotion Board Scholarship Program

  • Description: 

    The Wisconsin State Fair Dairy Promotion Board is offering $1,000 scholarships to individuals that will be third or fourth year college students during the 2021-22 academic year.

    Any Wisconsin resident who is currently enrolled as a full-time student at a four-year Wisconsin school and is pursuing a dairy-related or food science degree is eligible for scholarship consideration. PREVIOUS RECIPIENTS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.

    All applicants are required to submit an application electronically as a PDF no later than MARCH 19, 2021. Save application as LAST NAME, FIRST NAME and e-mail to programassistant@wsfdairypromo.org using the subject – Wisconsin State Fair Dairy Promotion Board Scholarship Application. Attach your transcript as a separate document. HAND-WRITTEN APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. MAILED APPLICATIONS/TRANSCRIPTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

    Applicants will be evaluated on involvement and leadership in dairy-related activities, scholastic achievement and career objectives. The scholarship committee will select finalists from the eligible applications received. Finalists will be interviewed, with the recipients to be recognized at the 2021 Wisconsin State Fair. Please note that in order for continued consideration students selected for an interview must be available during normal business hours on the interview date.

    Scholarship recipients must continue enrollment in the suggested curriculum and maintain an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher or forfeit scholarship monies. Scholarships will be awarded at the completion of the first semester and at the time the Wisconsin State Fair Dairy Promotion Board has received a copy of registration for the second semester and a current transcript.

Executive Women International Scholarship

  • Description: 

    Competition is open to all senior high school students, male and female, attending public, private and parochial schools in the eight-county southeastern Wisconsin area served by the Milwaukee chapter including Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Walworth, Waukesha, Washington, Ozaukee, and Sheboygan counties. Students applying must also be legally residing within the country in which they are applying. EWISP allows selected students to compete at both the EWI® chapter and EWI® corporate levels* for scholarships.

    ➢ Each high school can nominate only ONE Senior student to compete.

    ➢ Student must be nominated by their school or teacher. Eligible students should:

    • Students must plan to pursue a degree at an accrdited post-secondary institution
    • Have a demonstrated financial need
    • Have a minimum 3.00 GPA on a 4.0 scale
    • SAT or ACT scores are required for the judging process
    • Have contributed to their community as demonstrated by their involvement in extracurricular activities, work, religious, civic or volunteer activities.

    • Once your high school has selected their candidate, the nominated candidate may apply online.- Please reach out to your school counselor if you are interested.

AABE Scholarship

  • Description:

    Through the work of various members of the AABE National Scholarship Committee, Chapter Presidents, Regional Directors, local Scholarship Committees and many AABE volunteers nationwide, the AABE Scholarship Program is advertised and applications are solicited from eligible candidates nation-wide. AABE local chapters review the applications received and select local scholarship winners, from which the top ranked candidates are forwarded to the National Scholarship Committee for consideration of regional and national awards.

    Eligibility Criteria:

    • Unweighted academic average of B or better (3.0 on a 4.0 scale)
    • Graduating high school senior who intends to enroll next semester in an accredited college or university
    • Pursuing a business, one of the physical sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics field

Wisconsin Mathematics Council , Texas Instruments Scholarship Award

  • Description:

    The Arne Engebretsen Memorial Scholarship was established to honor the man who dedicated his entire teaching career to improving the quality of mathematics education in the state of Wisconsin, the country and the world. He was, in the finest sense, a master teacher. Integral to his work was the use of technology and more specifically, hand-held graphing calculators.
