  • Description:

    • Must be the natural, adopted, step-child or full dependent of a worker injured or killed in a work-related accident during the course and scope of employment with a Wisconsin based employer.
    • Must be a Wisconsin resident between the ages of 16 and 25 at the time of the application.
    • Must have a high school diploma, GED or be a high school student in good standing. Academic achievement, aptitude, extracurricular activities, and community service of the applicant are considered.
    • Grade point average will be reviewed against the number of hours the applicant works and his/her community involvement.
    • Must be pursuing a primary college or university degree (bachelor's or associate's) or vocational education and training (certificate or license) from any accredited school.
    • Must demonstrate financial need.

Thea Bowman Institute For Excellence & Leadership Scholarship Program

  • Description: 

    Alverno College will offer up to 20 full-tuition scholarships to Black women who meet the following criteria and exhibit a strong desire to serve as leaders in their communities:

    • High school graduate in 2021
    • Demonstrated record of academic success
    • Admissible to Alverno College
    • Clear evidence of civic and/or community engagement in high school, community and/or place of worship
    • Ability to discuss intended college major and career goals
    • Successful interview with the selection committee

    Scholarships are renewable for up to four years based on full-time enrollment, satisfactory academic progress, active engagement in all program activities and opportunities, and successful progress toward four-year degree completion.

  • Description: 

    Academic achievements, references, honors/awards, personal statement, financial need, citizenship, personality and leadership are the criteria by which applicants will be judged.

    The required documents are:
    1. The Scholarship Application
    2. Two letters of recommendation, not over 250 words, from a non-family member.
    3. An official transcript of credits and a copy of the College Aptitude Test Scores (ACT or SAT)
    4. A personal statement of your Italian descent.

    1. Orgin-Candiadate to be of Italian descent as determined by OSIA's trustees and selection committee.
    2. Residence- Canidate must reside in the following counties: Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha

  • Description:

    The PB&J scholarship awards students who have experienced personal challenges in their life that may not have allowed them to perform well academically but still have the drive to succeed.

Wisconsin Towns Association Scholarship

  • Description:

    Wisconsin Towns Association, Rural Mutual Insurance Company, and Scott Construction, Inc. are again offering the following scholarships to winners of an essay contest. Scholarships will be awarded on the following basis:

    • Two (2) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded, one each to the highest ranking boy and highest ranking girl from a town or village insured by Rural Mutual Insurance Company as of May 1, 2021.

    • Five (5) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to the top five additional students.

     The essay should address the topic: “What lessons can town governments take from the COVID-19 pandemic to improve their emergency management systems and prepare for and respond to future disasters?” 

    • The typed (not handwritten) essay should be between 500 and 1,000 words and double spaced.
    • Essays must include a bibliiographic listing of sourced used.

    Additional Information: 

    • Essays will be judged independently on originality and subject matter in relationship to the topic. The essays must also contain correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.
    • Judging will be completed by August 13, 2021
    • Recipients will be announced by August 27, 2021. Proof of enrollment in a WI public or private college is required to receive a scholarship.

Polish Heritage Club

  • Description: 

    1. Applicant must be of verifiable Polish ancestry OR studying the Polish language, history, society or culture OR be significantly engaged with Polish culture.

    2. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or a legal permanent resident

    3. Applicant must be a Wisconsin resident

    4. Applicant must be enrolling or enrolled in an educational program seeking the associate or bachelor’s degree in any field of study at an accredited U.S. university or college

    5. Applicant has demonstrated excellent academic performance. Successful applicants will usually have a grade point average of at least a 3.0 on a four-point scale.

Brewers Community Foundation-Alan H. Selig Scholarship

  • Description:

    The Allan H. Selig Scholarship Program was created in the name of former Brewers President and Commissioner Emeritus of Baseball Allan H. (Bud) Selig. Funding for the scholarships is the result of proceeds donated by Major League Baseball, from the All-Star Workout Day, part of the 2002 All-Star festivities held at Miller Park. Commissioner Selig has deep ties to Milwaukee and Wisconsin and he has also had a long-term commitment to educational excellence.

    Applicants must be graduating seniors from a Wisconsin High School Class of 2020 and accepted to a college or university based in the State of Wisconsin. Selected candidates will receive $2,500, annually, renewable each year for a total of $10,000 over four years.

Brewers Community Foundation-Player/Coaches Scholarship

  • The Players/Coaches Scholarship Program is made possible thanks to Milwaukee Brewers players and coaches commitment to educational opportunities for youth. This scholarship is a one year award that various in amounts from season to season for students who plan to attend or are currently attending a college and university in Wisconsin. Generally scholarship awards have been between $1,000.00 and $2,500.00. See application for complete details.
