New Women in STEM Scholarship

Technology has come to impact almost every facet of our lives. It has become a driver for innovation and unlocked so many new career paths. Unfortunately a significant gender gap persists.
While women make up almost 50% of the labor market, they hold only 28% of STEM jobs. Minority women are even less represented in STEM, making up just 1 out of every 20 scientist and engineer jobs.
Prime Mailboxes is hoping to inspire more young women to consider a STEM career. The Prime Mailbox Women in STEM Scholarship will award $675 to female students who are passionate about science, technology, engineering, or math.

Pewaukee Area Arts Council Scholarship

Description:
The Pewaukee Area Arts Council (PAAC) offers $500 scholarships to high school seniors in the arts (visual, performing, literary, music, multidisciplinary). To be eligible for a $500 scholarship, applicants must complete the application form in its entirety.
PAAC will select scholarship recipients on the basis of quality and creativity of art, potential to benefit from further education, artist’s statement and financial need (where applicable). The committee may also use GPA, recognitions and community service to select recipients.

LEAGUE Foundation Scholarship

Description:
The program is open to self-identified Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, or Transgender graduating high school seniors meeting the prescribed criteria.
The applicant must:
- Be graduating from high school in the year he / she applies for a scholarship.
- Be a United States Citizen.
- Be attending an accredited college, university, or vocational school within the United States or Canada. Proof of acceptance is required.
- Provide an OFFICIAL copy of his / her high school transcript showing a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better using a 4.0 scale or equivalent. Weighted average can be used in this calculations. If the applicant’s high school does not use a numerical grading system, then a complete description of the measures of success and requirements for graduation is required.
- Complete 2 personal essays as outlined on the application form.
- Provide at least 2 letters of recommendation from non-family members.
- Prepare a detailed list of community involvement. "Extra-Credit" is given to those activities and leadership roles relating directly to the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender communities.
- Sign an acknowledgement form agreeing to the outlined terms and conditions of the application. (See application form)

The Student-View Scholarship Program is offering $13,000 worth of scholarships to high school seniors who plan to attend a four-year college, community/junior college or career school.
The program includes:
- One $5,000 scholarship
- Three $1,000 scholarships

Horatio Alger Endowment Fund

Description:
The Career & Technical Scholarship Program is funded through the Horatio Alger Endowment Fund and the generosity of Association Chairman Emeritus and Endowment Fund President Walter Scott, Jr. Scholarships are awarded to students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their lives who wish to pursue a career or technical education at an accredited non-profit post-secondary institution in the United States.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Have completed high school (or earned a high school equivalency credential)
- Will be enrolled in eligible program in Fall 2020
- Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a career or technical program (up to 2 years) at an accredited non-profit post-secondary institution in the United States
- Demonstrated critical financial need (must be eligible to receive the Federal Pell grant as determined by completion of the FAFSA)
- Demonstrated perseverance in overcoming adversity
- Be under the age of 30
- Be a United States citizen
Funds may be used for tuition, fees, books and supplies. All scholarship funds are paid directly to the institution on behalf of the recipient.

2020-2021 HireAHelper Skilled Trade & Technology Scholarships

HirAHelper will award a $2,000 scholarship four times a year to eligible students.
Eligibilty
- You must be 18 years or over and currently be enrolled as a high school senior, or in a community college, undergraduate, graduate, technical college, or vocational program, or be planning to enroll in a high school, community college, undergraduate, graduate, technical college, or vocational program during the 2019-2020 academic program in the United States.
- You must have a minimum 3.4 GPA.
- You must be pursuing a degree that enables you or others in your community to learn a new trade, develop skills and technology, or start a small business related to moving services offered by HireAHelper
Deadlines
- Fall Contest Cycle: October 15 - January 15 of the following year.
- Winter Contest Cycle: January 16 - April 16 of each year
- Spring Contest Cycle: April 17 - July 17 of each year.
- Summer Contest Cycle: July 18 - October 14 of each year.
