    The Work Ethic Scholarship Program is about recognizing people who understand the importance of work ethic, personal responsibility, delayed gratification, and a positive attitude. These are hardworking men and women who will keep the lights on, water running, and air flowing. These are people who show up early, stay late, and bust their asses day in and out. These are the people we want to reward.

    We're now accepting applications for the 2021 Work Ethic Scholarship Program. If you want to help us make work cool again, check out the details below and apply now.

    There'll be hoops to jump through. The short version is, you'll have to:
    Enroll in an approved program.
    Sign The S.W.E.A.T. Pledge.
    Send at least 2 references from bosses/teachers.
    Answer 4 questions.
    Make a short video.
    Verify school costs.
    Provide high school/college transcript.
    Submit financial info.
    Apply by 11:59 PM PST on May 6, 2021.

Aging Matters Scholarship

  • Description:

    SeniorCare.com continues to bring more awareness to the key issues we face as an aging population. For the 6th consecutive year, we will be awarding an annual college scholarship to an individual that best demonstrates to us why "Aging Matters" to them. A $1500 scholarship will be given annually to a selected college student that currently cares for an aging loved one, works within the senior community, or intends to pursue a career that will have an impact on the elder population. Any existing student (or incoming freshman), in good academic standing, at a 2 or 4 year accredited college can apply for this scholarship. The recipient will demonstrate a unique and admirable understanding and desire to show us that "Aging Matters" to them.

B. Davis Scholarship

  • Description:

    This Scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post secondary institution.

    • There is no age restriction
    • Be sure to include your name and the school you are attending this year and next
    • This is not an academic scholarship but we would like to know where you are going to school now and what your future academic plans are.


    Please do not send transcripts or letters of recommendation at this time.

    Application Procedure: To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an essay of less than 1000 words on the following topic - Describe the three characteristics of leadership you value most.  Discuss why you believe that these traits are so important and how you feel that they are developed in an individual.

FOREMOST MEDIA, INC ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP

  • APPLICATIONS ARE ONLY ACCEPTED: MARCH 1-MAY 1, 2021

    Eligibility criteria: 
    1. Graduating senior who is entering the Marketing or Web Development
    2. 250-500 words essay (See topics on link page)
    3. Must be a resident of the United States
    4. Must be enrolling at an accredited two or four-year college or trade school
    5. Recommendation letter
    6. Only online appicatons will be accepted.

AED Superstore College Scholarship

  • Description:

    We are the largest provider of AEDs in the US and work with schools like yours to ensure they are prepared to respond quickly and appropriately in the instance a faculty member or student suffers from sudden cardiac arrest. Recently we implemented a $1,000 bi-annual scholarship for High School attendees and your students are eligible. LM Scholarship Program

  • Description:

    To be considered eligible for this scholarship the student must be currently enrolled or expects to be enrolled in a degree program (2 years of length or greater) by September. Additionally, must have a GPA or 3.0 or higher and submit an answer to the essay question prior to the submission deadline.

Kay Battista Scholarship

  • Description:

    1. Be a high school senior, a college undergraduate, a college graduate student seeking a first teaching certificate, or a college graduate seeking a graduate level degree in education.
    2. Have the equivalent of a C or better grade point average in the most recent school you attended (high school or college).
    3. Be endorsed by an active NNSTOY member. Ms. Sarahi Monterrey would be the endorser for North students. 
    4. Provide three (3) letters of recommendation.
    5. Meet the deadline for applying.

NAACP (Hubertus W.V. Willems Scholarship)

  • Description: 

    The Hubertus W.V. Willems Scholarship for Male Students is awarded annually to a male, US citizen who attends an accredited institution in the United States and is majoring in one of the following fields: Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or Mathematical Sciences.

    Are you Eligible?:

    1. Be a male majoring in one of the following fields:  Engineering, (this does not include bio/biomedical engineering), Chemistry, Physics or Mathematical Sciences.
    2. Be a US citizen.
    3. Be currently enrolled or accepted to an accredited college (excluding proprietary schools) in the United States.
    4. NAACP membership and participation is highly desirable.
    5. Must demonstrate financial need based on the federal poverty guidelines.

    2. Must possess a grade point average of 2.5 (C+) on a 4.0 system.

The Department of Children and Families (DCF) Scholarship Program

  • Description:

    Scholarship awards scholarship funds for youth who have been in out-of-home care and are entering a degree, license or certificate program. Provision of your social security number (SSN) is voluntary; not providing it could result in an information processing delay.
