  • The Burton scholarship Trust Fund was established as a result of a bequest by Lila Burton, a Waukesha County resident, indicating her faith in the young people of Waukesha County and her belief in the value of an education. Consideration will be given to all scholarship applicants based upon: scholastic achievement, personality and character qualities, school citizenship, ACT or SAT scores and financial need (only if financial statement is completed). Open to all 4 year schools, however, more money will be given to those who plan on attending Carroll University. The number of scholarships awarded is dependent upon the income of the Trust Fund. Scholarship award will be $1,200-$1,800 per year for four years. Last year 19 scholarships were awarded.
