Waukesha North Booster Club Scholarship

  • The Waukesha North Booster Club is proud to continue with its annual scholarship opportunity for college and technical school-bound student athletes. We are very pleased to announce the board will offer up to four (4) $750 scholarships. Applications can be obtained in the Activities Office, Student Services Office, or on the Booster Club section of the Waukesha North website. The awards will be presented at the Scholar Athlete Recognition Dinner in May. Purpose: Waukesha North Booster Club values effort and excellence. The scholarship committee seeks to recognize and award student athletes who have enriched their high school experience by participation in Northstar athletics while maintaining high academic achievement.

    Qualifications:

    • Cumulative 3.00+ GPA for the first 7 semesters
    • Must be attending post HS education in the fall
    • Parent(s) are members of the Booster Club
    • No Athletic Code Violations

     Exceptions to these qualifications may be considered by the Booster Club on an individual basis.

    • Complete an essay question Essay Question (250 word minimum): Participating in sports encourages personal growth on many levels. Describe your most memorable experience in sports at WNHS and what you learned from that experience. Share how you will apply this to your near academic and future professional life.

Waukesha MADE Scholarship

  • Any student in the senior class who has taken at least two classes in the area of Technology Education at Waukesha North High School, and who plans on attending an institution of higher education in the fall of 2021, and has an overall grade point average of a 2.0, is eligible to apply for the $500 scholarship.  The $500 will be paid directly to the institution of choice prior to the start of the fall semes

Waukesha Women's Club General Scholarship

  • Both female and male students may apply for this scholarship but the applicant MUST live in the city or town of Waukesha.  Applicants must be involved in school and community activities and plan to continue their education at a 2 or 4 year college. The student’s choice of study is optional. Award is 1 @ $1,000 and will go to one Waukesha North student.

Lila Draper Burton Scholarship

  • The Burton scholarship Trust Fund was established as a result of a bequest by Lila Burton, a Waukesha County resident, indicating her faith in the young people of Waukesha County and her belief in the value of an education. Consideration will be given to all scholarship applicants based upon: scholastic achievement, personality and character qualities, school citizenship, ACT or SAT scores and financial need (only if financial statement is completed). Open to all 4 year schools, however, more money will be given to those who plan on attending Carroll University. The number of scholarships awarded is dependent upon the income of the Trust Fund. Scholarship award will be $1,200-$1,800 per year for four years. Last year 19 scholarships were awarded.

WEF Scholarship

  • The Waukesha Education Foundation scholarship will be awarded to one senior in the Class of 2021 who best exemplifies the following characteristics:

    • Excellent academic record
    • Participation in school activities
    • Strong character
    • Community volunteerism
    • Committed employment record

    The recipient of this award will receive a $500 scholarship.

Dr. Jim Marty Memorial Scholarship

  • This $500 scholarship is meant to be for a student who has overcome problems, hurdles or challenges throughout his or her life, and who shows potential for future success.  The student who applies for this scholarship should be planning on enrolling in a technical college, two-year college, or four-year college, for the fall of 2021.

Aspiring Educators Scholarship

  • This award is sponsored by retired Business Educator, Ms. Diane Voit.  Any North High School senior who is preparing for an education-related career (Early Childhood Education Assistant or Teacher, Elementary Education, Middle/High School Education, Special Education Teaching Assistant/Teacher, School Counselor, School Social Worker, Speech Pathologist, Communicative Disorders, etc.) may apply. Elizabeth and Peter Dianich Memorial Scholarship

  • The Elizabeth & Peter Dianich Scholarship fund was created in 2006 to honor graduating seniors that will be continuing their formal education at an accredited post-secondary institution. Scholarship criteria: academics, school activities, community involvement, character, employment, etc.  Amount: 1 @ $675 and will go to one Waukesha North student.

Bob Bartholf Memorial Scholarship

  • In memory of Bob Bartholf, a former Northstar who attended Waukesha North in the 80’s.  Bartholf was an active member of the DECA program at Waukesha North, so this scholarship is to honor a current North student who has an interest in a career in business.  All applicants must have taken at least one credit within the Business Department, and plan to pursue a degree in a business-related field.  The applicant also must plan to attend a technical, two-year, or four-year college in the fall of 2021.

Waterstone Bank Scholarship

  • $500 will be given to two different students from Waukesha North.  This scholarship is available for a student who demonstrates the desire and character to achieve further education, whether at a college, university, vocational school or other institution of higher learning.  Particular attention will be given to students who have recently shown a trend toward improved performance or interest, thus demonstrating growth and potential. No minimum GPA for this scholarship.

Kiwanis Club Scholarship

  • Kiwanis Club is awarding $500 to 1 or 2 senior students. This award is open to all senior students. Applicants must be attending a 2-year, 4-year or technical school full-time in the fall of 2021. Winners will be picked based on financial need but they also look at academics, extracurricular activities or community activities, and job history.  Applicants will need one letter of recommendation from a teacher or coach.

Outstanding Business Student Award

  • This award is sponsored by retired Waukesha North Business Education teacher, Ms. Diane Voit. Any senior who has taken a minimum of three marketing or business classes, and has a B average in those business courses is encouraged to apply.
