Community Memorial Foundation

  • Description:

    Community Memorial Foundation and the medical staff at Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Community Memorial Hospital are currently accepting scholarship applications from area students pursuing careers in health care. Community Memorial Foundation offers scholarships to high school seniors and undergraduate students pursuing health care or medical careers who reside in the hospital’s service area (north side of Waukesha County, south side of Washington County and the northwest side of Milwaukee County). The students are selected by a scholarship committee based on their academic excellence, interest in health professions, scholarship need, connection to the hospital and enrollment in an accredited university or college. The medical staff scholarship program also includes scholarships for area high school students as well as medical students attending the UW– Madison’s School of Medicine and Public Health or the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

Tall Club Scholarship (Jason Daniel Gosz Memorial)

  • Description: 

    The Tall Club of Milwaukee, a member club of Tall Clubs International, Inc. (TCI), used to offer the Jason Daniel Gosz Memorial Scholarship of $300 to a southeast Wisconsin area student who shows a high level of achievement, involvement in school activities, community service, volunteer work, leadership, integrity, enthusiasm, originality and a positive attitude toward him/herself and others.

    Though now unfunded, the winner of the Jason Daniel Gosz Memorial Scholarship will be submitted to the TCI Scholarship Committee to be considered for the $1000 Kae Sumner Einfeldt Scholarship.

AHEPA Milwaukee Chapter #43 - AHEPA Scholarship Foundation

  • Description/Criteria:

    In order to be eligible fo an AHEPA Milwaukee Chapter #43 scholarship, an applicant MUST meet BOTH of the following criteria:
    • All applicants must be senior high school students eligible for graduation at the end of the 2020-2021 school year; and
    • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

    In order to be eligible for an AHEPA Milwaukee Chapter #43 scholarship, an applicant MUST meet ONE of the following criteria:

    • A child or grandchild of a member of Milwaukee AHEPA Chapter #43 or Daughters of Penelope Hector 103. (If the grandchild does not reside in the six-county area Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Washington, and Waukesha Counties- their father must be an AHEPAN and/or mother a DOP of a different chapter.)
    • Be of Hellenic descent and reside in the six-county area.


    Application Requirements:

    • Include a certified transcript of grades from the applicant’s high school. The official correspondence must include class rank;
    • A certified copy of either the ACT or SAT test results (not required if noted on official transcript);
    • A letter of recommendation from an educator at the applicant's high school (submitted separately, by the educator);
    • Athletic award applicants must also submit a letter of recommendation from a high school coach;
    • A recent photograph of the applicant, no larger than 2 ½ x 3 ½, which becomes the property of the Scholarship Foundation;
    • Applications must be submitted on time, received by the deadline, Monday, March 1st, 2021. LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
    • A two-paragraph biography (only two paragraphs, please) that includes the applicant’s high school, intended major, intended university or technical college, a few accomplishments, and a sentence or two from a letter of recommendation. The biography is required for the Event Program and is not used for scholarship evaluation purposes. Please email your biography to scholarships@ahepa43.org.
    • Qualified applicants will be required to participate in a personal interview via a ZOOM teleconference on March 21st, 2021.

Waukesha Deputy Sheriff Association Local Scholarship

Young Women in Public Affairs Scholarship

  • Description:

    The Zonta Club of Milwaukee offers three college scholarship opportunities for young women and college students living in and/or attending accredited schools in southeastern Wisconsin including: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, Washington, Racine and Kenosha counties. Aimed at pre-university or pre-college students (ages 16-19), this tri-level (club/district/international) scholarship competition was designed to encourage
    more young women to participate in Public Affairs and Political Life.

    Applicants must show their active commitment to volunteerism and provide evidence of their volunteer leadership achievements,as well as their dedication to advancing the status of women.

    The Zonta Club of Milwaukee awards a $1,000 scholarship and forwards the winner’s application to Zonta District 6 for consideration for an additional $1,000 scholarship award. The district winner’s application is sent on to Zonta International for consideration for one of the ten $4,000 international scholarship awards.

Waukesha Noon Lions Club

    The following represents the criteria which the recipient must meet:     
    1. Be a 2021 Graduate of Waukesha City High School.
    2. To either possess a physical impairment or be planning to pursue a degree in a field related to furthering care, research, or treatment of persons with such impairments.

    Along with the above criteria, there are a number of other considerations white we will use in selecting our candidates.
    1. College or University chosen.
    2. Academic achievement.
    3. Volunteer work in the community.
    4. Scholarship recipient able to speak at one of our club meetings.

Lakeland Officials Association

  • Description:

    Since it’s inception in 1998, the L.O.A. Scholarship Fund has provided scholarships to graduating students from Waukesha County high schools. To date, over $100,000 has been granted to deserving students who wish to continue their education.

    Each year we try to assist graduating Seniors in their post secondary educational expenses. The awards are typically in the amount of $500 or $1000 each. These awards are not based on any one criterion, and all timely received applications are reviewed by a committee of at least eight members.
