Tall Club Scholarship (Jason Daniel Gosz Memorial)

  • Description: 

    The Tall Club of Milwaukee, a member club of Tall Clubs International, Inc. (TCI), used to offer the Jason Daniel Gosz Memorial Scholarship of $300 to a southeast Wisconsin area student who shows a high level of achievement, involvement in school activities, community service, volunteer work, leadership, integrity, enthusiasm, originality and a positive attitude toward him/herself and others.

    Though now unfunded, the winner of the Jason Daniel Gosz Memorial Scholarship will be submitted to the TCI Scholarship Committee to be considered for the $1000 Kae Sumner Einfeldt Scholarship.

Waukesha Deputy Sheriff Association Local Scholarship

  • Description: 

    The Waukesha Deputy Sheriff Association has Established opportunities to receive $1,000 Scholarships for the 2020 graduating class. These scholarships will be awarded to eligible students who reside in Waukesha County.


    1. Please read the criteria for the application carefully. Complete the attached application form. If possible it is best to type the application. Neatness and correct grammar influence the reader. Use the application to promote yourself. Be specific, explicit, and thorough.
    2. To be eligible, you must first be graduating from high school and intend on furthering your education. Second, you must be a resident of Waukesha County. Third, you must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
    3. The student who is awarded this scholarship shall receive a one-time sum of $1000.00 for their freshman year of college.
    4. All applications will be carefully read over by the Scholarship Board and will be decided on the basis of the entire application.
    5. ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED BY MARCH 1, 2020. All applications must be mailed and have the proper postage. Do not send certified mail. Do not send to the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department. Applications not containing all required information will be disqualified. Order of AHEPA Chapter #43 - AHEPA Scholarship

  • Description/Criteria:

    All students MUST meet each of the following criteria:

    • All applicants must be senior high school students eligible for graduation at the end of the 2019-2020 school year; and
    • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

    In order to be eligible for an AHEPA Milwaukee Chapter #43 scholarship, an applicant MUST meet ONE of the following criteria:

    • Applicants must be a child or grandchild of a member of the Milwaukee AHEPA Chapter #43 family or Daughters of Penelope Hector 103. (If the grandchild does not reside in the six-county area, including Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Washington and Waukesha Counties- their father must be an AHEPAN and/or mother a DOP of a different chapter.)
    • Be of Hellenic descent and reside in the six-county area.

    Applications Requirements:

    • Include a certified transcript of grades from the applicant's high school. The official correspondence must include your class rank;
    • A certified copy of either the ACT or SAT test scores. (Not required if noted on official transcript;
    • A letter of recommendation, from an educator at the applicant's high school (submitted separately, by the educator);
    • Athletic award applicants must also submit a letter of recommendation from a high school coach;
    • A recent photograph of the applicant, no larger than 2-1/2 x 3-1/2, which becomes the property of the Scholarship Foundation;
    • Applications must be submitted on time, received by the deadline- Monday, March 2, 2020. LATE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
    • two paragraph biography (only two paragraphs, please) which includes the high school you are attending, intended major, intended University or Technical college, a few accomplishments and a sentence or two from your letter of recommendation. Young Women in Public Affairs Scholarship

  • Description:

    The Zonta Club of Milwaukee offers three college scholarship opportunities for young women and college students living in and/or attending accredited schools in southeastern Wisconsin including: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Ozaukee, Washington, Racine and Kenosha counties. Aimed at pre-university or pre-college students (ages 16-19), this tri-level (club/district/international) scholarship competition was designed to encourage
    more young women to participate in Public Affairs and Political Life.

    Applicants must show their active commitment to volunteerism and provide evidence of their volunteer leadership achievements,as well as their dedication to advancing the status of women.

    The Zonta Club of Milwaukee awards a $1,000 scholarship and forwards the winner’s application to Zonta District 6 for consideration for an additional $1,000 scholarship award. The district winner’s application is sent on to Zonta International for consideration for one of the ten $4,000 international scholarship awards.

Waukesha Noon Lions Club Scholarship

  • Description:
    1. Be a 2020 Gradutate of Waukesha City High School.
    2. To either posses a physical impairment or be planning to pursue a degree in a field related to furthering care, research, or treatment of persons with such impairments.

    Along with the above criteria, there are a number of other considerations which we will use in selecting our candiadates.

    1. College or University chosen.
    2. Academic achievement.
    3. Volunteer work in the community.
    4. Scholarship recipient able to speak at one of our club meetings.

Pewaukee Area Arts Council Scholarship

  • Description:

    The Pewaukee Area Arts Council (PAAC) is pleased to announce that it will be awarding three one-time scholarships of $500 each to talented high school seniors in Waukesha County. Students who wish to pursue and practice their creative passions (dance, painting, drawing, theatre, opera, piano, poetry, set construction, video, animation, modern dance, photography, costume design, etc.) are invited to apply

    • The Student’s completed Application Form
    • An Artist Statement (100 words or less)
    • Submission of samples of the students’ artistic work, as detailed below. Please insure computerized materials are viewable in all formats (Apple, PC, etc). PAAC cannot guarantee the safe return of original works.
      • Portfolio Submission: two samples of work in digital format, jpeg, pdf, flat reproductions or photographs (8x10 or smaller). 
      • For Visual or Performance Arts: a brief recording of no more than 2 minutes, with an internet link for material, or demo CD included with scholarship package.
    •  The student should also request one or more teachers/mentors to complete the approval box on the application form.

UNICO Milwaukee Scholarship Awards

  • For 2019, the Milwaukee Chapter of UNICO and the Ladies of UNICO will be awarding  $1,000 scholarships. This announcement should be of interest to every secondary education student of  ITALIAN origin in the community.


    1. Origin – candidate to be of Italian origin.  Italian origin will be interpreted as proof to the Trustees and  Selection Committee’s satisfaction. Proof, where any doubt might exist, to be submitted with the completed application and documented.
    2. Residence – Candidate must reside in the following counties:  Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Waukesha, Racine, Kenosha, Walworth, or Washington.
    3. Academic Qualifications – Bona-fide graduating High School senior who will be attending an accredited 4 year institution of higher learning.
    4. Financial Need – Financial need is based on total family income, assets, number of children, age of children, interest income, misfortune, illness, hardship.

Lakeland Officials Association

  • Description:

    Since it’s inception in 1998, the L.O.A. Scholarship Fund has provided scholarships to graduating students from Waukesha County high schools. To date, over $100,000 has been granted to deserving students who wish to continue their education.

    Each year we try to assist graduating Seniors in their post secondary educational expenses. The awards are typically in the amount of $500 or $1000 each. These awards are not based on any one criterion, and all timely received applications are reviewed by a committee of at least eight members.

Executive Women International Scholarship

  • Description: 

    Competition is open to all senior high school students, male and female, attending public, private and parochial schools in the eight-county southeastern Wisconsin area served by the Milwaukee chapter including Milwaukee, Racine, Kenosha, Walworth, Waukesha, Washington, Ozaukee, and Sheboygan counties. Students applying must also be legally residing within the country in which they are applying. EWISP allows selected students to compete at both the EWI® chapter and EWI® corporate levels* for scholarships.

    ➢ Each high school can nominate only ONE Senior student to compete.

    ➢ Student must be nominated by their school or teacher. Eligible students should:

    • Plan to pursue a degree at an accredited post-secondary institution
    • Have a demonstrated financial need
    • Have a minimum 3.00 GPA on a 4.0 scale
    • Have contributed to their community as demonstrated by their involvement in extracurricular activities, work, religious, civic or volunteer activities.

    ➢ Deadline for submission of EWI of Milwaukee Scholarship Applications: March 8, 2019

    • Once your high school has selected their candidate, the nominated candidate may apply online.
    • The high school’s scholarship coordinator will provide the link to access the EWISP online application.

    ➢ Student should have the following documents/information available in electronic format to complete the application as all documents/information requested must be uploaded for applications to be considered complete:

    • Student Transcripts – most current schooling document is required
    • FAFSA/TAFSA documentation
    • Letters of Recommendation (2)

    ➢ Selection of EWISP winners is based on several factors with special emphasis on each individual’s character, personal merit, and background. Merit is demonstrated in a variety of ways: leadership in school, civic, and other extracurricular activities, academic achievement, and motivation to serve and succeed in all endeavors.

    ➢ All student finalists will be required to participate in a mandatory in-person interview with our panel of judges and attend the EWISP Awards Banquet on Tuesday, May 7, 2019. Please note: Finalists must attend interviews and be present at the Awards Banquet to be eligible for a scholarship.

ProHealth Care and Diversity Scholarship

  • Description:

    ProHealth Care has established a scholarship program to assist students who plan to continue education in college or vocational school programs. Funding for these scholarships is provided by the medical staffs at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and Waukesha Memorial Hospital Volunteer Services. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study in an eligible field, at an accredited institution of the student’s choice.

    This program is administered by Scholarship America®, the nation’s largest designer and manager of scholarship, tuition assistance and other education support programs for corporations, foundations, associations, and individuals. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.


    • High school seniors or graduates of any Waukesha County high school; OR current employees of ProHealth Care; OR current Waukesha County residents.
    • Planning to enroll or are already enrolled in full-time undergraduate course of study in an eligible* field at an accredited four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year
