FREE SPEECH ESSAY CONTEST
Description:
High School Juniors and Seniors in US high schools, including home-schooled students, as well as U.S. citizens attending high school overseas are eligible to participate in FIRE's essay contest.
- To enter, students must submit an essay between 700 and 900 words on the provided topic.
- First Place Prize: $10,000 (1 winner)
- Second Place Prize: $5,000 (1 winner)
- Third Place Prize: $1,000 (3 winners)
- Remaining Entrants: $500 (4 winners)

UNIGO $10K Scholarship

Description:
- Be fourteen (14) years of age or older at the time of application
- Be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia
- Be currently enrolled (or enroll no later than the fall of 2026) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education
Submit an online written response to the question:
"2020 was a year to be remembered. What will you remember most about 2020 and why is it important to you?" (250 words or less)The Unigo $10K Scholarship winner will be notified by email or phone on or around March 31, 2022.
