American Legion Auxiliary Scholarships (Wisconsin and National)

  • Description:


    Fifteen scholarships will be awarded for the 2020-2021 Auxiliary year. Three scholarships will be awarded in each Division of the American Legion Auxiliary: one in the amount of $3,500, one in the amount of $3,000 and one in the amount of $2,500. All are gift scholarships and not loans. Candidates for this award shall be daughters, sons, grandsons, granddaughters, great-granddaughters, great-grandsons of veterans who served in the Armed Forces during eligibility dates for membership in The American Legion.

American Legion Schneider-Emanuel Scholarship

  • Description:

    The American Legion, Department of Wisconsin Schneider-Emanuel scholarship offers to three (3) deserving graduates the sum of $1,000 to be applied to the cost of continuing education. 

    Applicant must either be;

    • A SON/DAUGHTER whose Father, Mother, or Legal Guardian is living and a current member of The American Legion, The American Legion Auxiliary, or The Sons of The American Legion at the time of application.
    • A GRANDSON/GRANDDAUGHTER whose Grandfather, Grandmother, or Legal Guardian is living and a current member of The American Legion, The American Legion Auxiliary, or The Sons of The American Legion at the time of application.

The Wisconsin Title I Association

Wisconsin Association of Cheer & POMS Coaches (WACPC)

  • Description:

Better Business Bureau- Students of Integrity

  • Description:

    In 2022, there will be a total of 15 scholarships, each in the amount of $2,500. 


    To be eligible for this award, the student must:

    • Be a high school senior  
    • Be a Wisconsin state resident    
    • Have a 3.0 or show GPA improvement consistently over time    
    • Plan to attend a Wisconsin-based accredited Higher Education Institution (2 or 4 year)

    Judging Criteria

    Entries will be reviewed by a panel of judges comprised of Wisconsin business leaders and members of the academic community, and scored based on five elements: 

    1. Essay (50%),Letters of reference (20%), 
    2. Community involvement/employment (10%),
    3. Academics (15%),
    4. And first generation (5%).

    At least 2 of the scholarships will be awarded to students in the Milwaukee Public School District and at least 2 of the scholarships will be awarded to students planning to attend a 2-year college in Wisconsin.

Wisconsin State USBC Scholarship Application

  • Description: 


    1. Must be a graduating high school senior.
    2. Is currently a certified member of the Wisconsin State USBC and actively bowling in a certified youth league within the jurisdiction of the Wisconsin State USBC.
    3. Applicant must have a good record in USBC and WIAA in high school activities.
    4. Application must be filled out in a concise and orderly manner with complete information as required before March 15, 2022

Wisconsin Security Association (WISA)

  • Description:

    The Wisconsin Security Association (WISA), is pleased to announce the availability of two college scholarships for graduating seniors whose parents are full-time, active members of a Wisconsin police or fire department. One $1,500 Youth Scholarship will be awarded to a son/daughter of an active-duty police department member and one to a son/daughter of an active-duty fire department member. Since 2010 WISA has awarded $28,000 in scholarships.

American Legion Department of WI Americanism and Government Scholarship

  • Description:

    What is it? 
    The test consists of 50 questions; true/false, multiple choice, matching, and an essay question that must be answered in order to qualify for the scholarships. Students are not allowed to use outside resources for answers while taking this test.

    When is it?
    Test may be taken anytime between March 14-25, 2022

    Who is eligible?
    Any student in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade, who is enrolled in any public, private, parochial or home-school, in the State of Wisconsin may participate. Students may only take the test 1 time per year; however, students may participate all 3 years and be eligible for the scholarships for multiple years.

    What are the scholarship opportunities?
    Annually, 33 students throughout the State of Wisconsin are awarded scholarships selected by the Americanism Committee of The American Legion, Department of Wisconsin. The following scholarships are awarded:
                                        11 students in Grade 10 receive $250 scholarships

                                        11 students in Grade 11 receive $300 scholarships

                                        11 students in Grade 12 receive $750 scholarships

Kohler Credit Union

  • Description:

    • Student or parents must be Kohler Credit Union members prior January 1, 2022.
    • Student must have a cumulative high school grade point of at least 3.25 (on a 4-point scale).
    • Student must have definite plans to attend a 4-year college or university full-time in the state of Wisconsin.
    • Student must have a high school record that indicates achievement and high standards in scholarship, character, leadership, citizenship, and involvement in school and community activities.

4-H Foundation Scholarships

  • Description:

    The Wisconsin 4-H Foundation will award more than $15,000 in scholarships to outstanding Wisconsin 4-H members and alumni pursuing higher education in 2022.  To be considered for financial support, applications must be received by the Wisconsin 4-H Foundation via email by Tuesday, March 15, 2022, 5:00 pm.

          Wisconsin 4-H Foundation scholarships are awarded to students based on demonstrated personal growth through 4-H, development and leadership in 4-H, academic performance and future educational goals. 

          To be eligible for Wisconsin 4-H Foundation scholarships students must have been a Wisconsin 4-H member for at least three years; should have a grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, and be enrolled or planning to enroll at a university, college or technical school during the 2022-2023 academic school year.  Scholarship winners from previous years are not eligible to receive a second 4-H Foundation scholarship.

           All applications must adhere to the conventions outlined below.  Any application that does not meet these requirements will not be considered.  All documents must be emailed to the 4-H Foundation as one, two-page PDF.  Any other cloud/internet shared documents will be NOT be accepted (do NOT use Google Docs, for example).

          The application materials represent what youth may be asked to submit when applying for jobs. We encourage applicants to treat this process as if applying for a position.

    *For help with creating cover letters and résumés, applicants should reach out to their club leaders, county educator or a teacher or parent.

Wisconsin FFA Foundation Scholarship

  • Description:

    • Applicants must use the current year Wisconsin FFA Foundation Post-Secondary Scholarship Application to be eligible for scholarship selection.
    • Please complete the electronic application, proof it carefully for errors, print and get the required signatures, and mail the complete application to the Wisconsin FFA Foundation.
    • Do not change the font size to less than 10 pt in any part of the application.
    • Use only the space provided plus a one page statement of support.
    • Do not place application in any type of binder or cover.
