My name is Mrs. Bettack, and I am a special education teacher at Lowell Elementary. I recently got married, so some students and families may know me as Mrs. Laveau. Each year the grade level that I work with typically changes which keeps me on my toes, and I am so lucky that I get to work will a lot of different students and staff! I have been teaching for over five years. My first job was in Elkhorn and then I came to Waukesha, my hometown, to work closer to home. One of my favorite parts about being a special education teacher is helping students reach their goals, both behaviorally and academically. I enjoy being able to do small group instruction focused on individual needs of learners.
I look forward to working together and making it an awesome school year!!
