I am Mrs. McLeod. I am a first grade teacher. I have been teaching at Lowell for 31 years! I have taught first, second, and first/second split grades over those 31 years. I have spent most of my years teaching first grade, my favorite grade to teach! I am currently the lead literacy teacher. I love teaching reading and writing to first graders! First graders make so many gains in one school year! I love Lowell School. This is my second home! The staff and parents are wonderful and supportive. I have taught so many siblings and I am beginning to teach children of former students! I grew up in Waukesha and I am so happy I have most spent of my teaching career at Lowell!
I have a husband, Tom, and a daughter, Natalie. Natalie is 20 years old and is a junior in college. Tom and I enjoy going for motorcycle rides on his Harley. I enjoy decorating the classroom and my home for every season. My favorite color is purple, can you tell?
