…and Still Learning
I have enjoyed teaching since 1993 and have worked with children from kindergarten through 6th grade, either as an educator of gifted children or as a classroom teacher. I look forward to each new year with positive anticipation.
Photography and scrapbooking are two of my delights. When traveling to different areas, I gather pictures of unusual road signs like tractor crossing, horse and buggy crossing, and cow crossing signs. Since childhood, I have collected snazzy dice and badges. Boxes, totes and fancy gift wrap…love ‘em all, so poking around at The Container Store is a ball. When free moments are available, hanging out at a beach is a soothing way to spend an afternoon and so is biking along a trail.
My husband Chuck and I have three children who have grown up in the Waukesha Public Schools. They bring much joy and adventure to our lives.
Some of My Life’s Eyebrow Raising Moments: swimming with a shark and nearly landing in a pen of them, biking from Waukesha to the Wisconsin Dells and having a near miss with a train, being on T.V. five times, and living in Hawaii where kids went to school barefoot.
