                  ***Alternate date February 6th

    After school on Thursday nights we meet in the Butler cafeteria at 2:45.  The bus leaves at 3:00 SHARP and returns to Butler by 8:00.  Rides MUST be at Butler to pick up students by 8:10.  (Pick up is in the turn-around on Michigan Street.)

    COST:  All students must purchase the one-time STUDENT CLUB ID CARD for $20.00. (Due Nov 19th)

    LIFT TICKET:  $20.00 (each time you go)

    BUS:  $12.00 (each time you go)

    RENTAL:  $20.00 ski/snowboard (each rental)

    HELMET RENTAL:  REQUIRED IF YOU DO NOT OWN ONE - $10.00

    COLLECTING MONEY:  Students, you will take all forms and money to your grade level advisor during the week, before 3:00 on the Wednesday before the trip.  (We get tickets ahead of time so students have them when they arrive at the hill.  This allows kids more time on the slopes.)  If you don’t turn your money in before Wednesday at 3:00, you will have to wait at the hill before getting your lift ticket. 

    CHECK MUST BE MADE OUT TO:  BUTLER MIDDLE SCHOOL.

    _____$20.00 (Cash or check) for Student Discount Card

    _____Butler Ski & Snowboard Club Behavior Expectation/Permission Slip (Filled out and signed) (Yellow Sheet)

    _____Butler Ski/Snowboard Club Emergency – Insurance Form/School Information Sheet (front and back filled out and signed) (Green Sheet)

    _____Alpine Valley Release of Liability/Rental Agreement Form (filled out and signed, EVEN IF you intend to bring your own equipment.  Sometimes equipment breaks so it is important to have this form on file in the event you need to rent for the rest of the evening.) (Pink Sheet)

    *Prior to our first trip, currently scheduled for December 12th, students will need to take fees to their grade advisor and reserve their spot on the bus.  This will need to be done by the end of the day every Wednesday prior to Thursday’s outing.

    *If we need to cancel due to weather, it will be posted on the Butler website.  We will also alert students before the end of the day so they can take the bus home or contact parents for a ride. 

    *Equipment can be stored in the Gym storage room on the Thursday of the trip.  Parents can drive around to the gym doors to drop equipment off before school starts.  Someone will be at the door to let the students in the gym area. 

    **Students must sign their ID card and bring it on each trip.  If a student loses his/her card, they must purchase another one for $20.00.

    IMPORTANT……ALL STUDENTS MUST WEAR A HELMET WHILE ATTENDING THE BUTLER SKI/SNOWBOARD CLUB OUTINGS.   THIS IS A BUTLER RULE…NOT AN ALPINE VALLEY RULE.  WE WANT OUR STUDENTS TO BE SAFE WHILE ATTENDING THIS FUN CLUB EVENT.

    Students need to know their weight, height, and shoe size when renting equipment.

    At this time all clubs, activities, and extracurricular events have been cancelled. 

     

    Students and families will be notified when we resume these after school acivities.
