• The Business Office is responsible for all of the district's accounting, purchasing, and payroll needs for 1,500 plus employees. Major tasks in this area include processing all payments; receipting all revenue; investing all monies; accounting and financial review/reporting of all transactions; maintaining the district's fixed asset system and insurance coverages; providing for all local, state, and federal financial reports; and supporting the instructional program staff through recommendations for equipment purchases and volume bidding.

    Since the district has moved to program and cost center budgeting, the demand for more detailed accounting/monitoring/reporting has increased dramatically.
