Jim Tyler Player's Choice Award

  • Description: 

    Need to be a senior on the Boy's Volleyball Team, chosen by team members for the Most Valuable Player. Need to have proof of enrollment at a college or university that you will be attending in the fall.

Mabel "Ammie" Amundson Scholarship

  • Description:

    The Mabel Amundson Scholarship is awarded to a female who displays character, scholastic achievement and participates in athletics and physical education activities. The award is named after Mabel "Ammie" Amundson, a long time physical education teacher at Waukesha South High School.

Norm Seeling Scholar Athlete Award

  • Description: 

    The Norm Seeling Scholar Athlete Awards are endowed by the Norm Seeling Family and are given to a Waukesha South young man and woman senior student who meets the minimum requirements:

    1. Is College bound
    2. Has achieved and lettered at the varsity level
    3. Ranks in the top 1/3 of his/or her graduating class; and who best demonstrates the following qaulities:

    • High athletic and academic achievement compared to potential 
    • Consistent hard work and effort as a student and as an athlete
    • Selfless and team oriented attitude
    • Leadership as a student and as an athlete
    • Good character and citizenship
    • Development and improvement as an athlete
    • Non-athletic, extra-curricular activities
      • If applicable, the ability to overcome difficulties due to illness, injury or other factors.
    • Adherence to athletic code
