    Financial need, 2.0 GPA minimum, one boy & one girl athlete and be involved in at least one athletic sport senior year. Must show involvement in at least one other extra co-curricular activity.  Must not have any academic or athletic code violations and financial need will be taken into consideration.  One recommendation from a coach, teacher and one co-curricular sponsor and need a copy of acceptance to a college or university.  Finally, parental participation in the Booster Club is required.

    This scholarship in the amount of $600 will be offered to students who were enrolled at Randall/Saratoga School for at least three full school years.  Consideration will be given to applicant based upon scholastic achievement, post-high school study, school citizenship, personality, character qualities, and financial need (considered but not required)  Students would need to show community involvement, planning to attend a post-high school institution of learning (a 2 year or 4 year school).  A receipt from the school of higher learning would need to be submitted.  Candidates need to write an essay of “Why would you like this scholarship and how would this scholarship assist you in reaching your goal?” Along with a resume with the necessary requirements on it.

  • Roland Schrupp Art Scholarship

    Description:

    Student must be intent on pursuing higher education in a visual arts related field or art education. Student must demonstrate advanced proficiency in the visual arts. Student must have successfully completed at least 3 art courses at South High School. Student must demonstrate financial need. Student must demonstrate a good overall academic record (minimum 2.75/4.0 scale).

    Procedure for Application:
    Student must submit a portfolio to the South High School art teachers by the end of May, which includes: 8 art works done during his/her senior year (at least 2 must be observational drawing pieces. A written statement answering the following questions:

         1. How is a personal vision present in your work?

         2. What motivates you to create art?

    A transcript of grades from South High School and a letter of acceptance from a higher education institution with a strong art program.

    This Scholarship is not available until January.

    Amount: One award in the amount of $750 or two may be awarded at $375.

    Need to be a student who will be entering elementary or secondary education. The student should rank in the top ¼ of the graduating class. The student should show participation in co-curricular activities and leadership potential. The student should exhibit the qualities that we would like to see in a prospective elementary/secondary teacher.

    Financial need may be used as a consideration, particularly when other qualifications are similar. The recipient will be decided by the Waukesha South Scholarship Committee.
