Project Graduation is a collaborative event that has been a tradition in the Waukesha School District since 1987. The brainchild of parents concerned about the safety of their seniors on graduation night, Project Graduation offers all graduates in each of Waukesha's four high schools a parent-chaperoned, safe, drug- and alcohol-free evening full of food and drinks, games, activities, entertainment (including an hour with a hypnotist), music, raffles, prizes and time spent with their friends.

The continued success of this treasured event is dependent upon our generous gift/food donors and volunteers, who spend time working with other Waukesha-area school reps to gather donations from local businesses, serving on the Project Graduation committee, which meets monthly to plan each year's party, and/or chaperoning the night of Project Graduation in areas that include: decorating, student check-in, casino games, carnival games, kitchen duty, security and running activities.

Parents of students in ALL grade levels and West alumni are encouraged to work in some capacity on Project Graduation.  Not only will you provide our seniors with a memorable evening, but you'll also help ensure Project Graduation will continue to be a successful collaboration between schools long into the future and, just as importantly, you'll have a blast spending the evening with a great group of kids!
