American Legion D. J. Martin Post #8 Americanism Award

  • Two (2) $200 scholarships will be given to one male and one female senior Waukesha North student. The young lady and young man must have high moral character, be active in school activities, maintain good grades and work toward improving the quality of life in the community.

Woyahn-Arnold Scholarship-Waukesha Tennis Association Scholarship

  • This scholarship is given to 2 senior students who played or will play on the WNHS Tennis Team during their senior year. Applicants will be chosen based on academic achievement and involvement in co-curricular activities. A brief essay, letter of recommendation and an official transcript are also needed. Please note that it is the students’ responsibility to make sure application is complete. Winners are selected by a committee from the Waukesha Tennis Association.

WaterStone Bank Scholarship

  • $500 will be given to two different students from Waukesha North.  This scholarship is available for a student who demonstrates the desire and character to achieve further education, whether at a college, university, vocational school or other institution of higher learning.  Particular attention will be given to students who have recently shown a trend toward improved performance or interest, thus demonstrating growth and potential. No minimum GPA for this scholarship.

Waukesha MADE Scholarship

  • Any student in the senior class who has taken at least two classes in the area of Technology Education at Waukesha North High School, and who plans on attending an institution of higher education in the fall of 2019, and has an overall grade point average of a 2.0, is eligible to apply for the $500 scholarship.  The $500 will be paid directly to the institution of choice prior to the start of the fall semes

Vikki Joy Belt Memorial Scholarship Award (2 @ $500)

  • This scholarship is in memory of Vikki Joy Belt, mother of three student athletes and avid Northstar supporter. Seniors must plant to attend post-secondary institution in fall of graduating year; have excellent academic record; 2.5 GPA minimum; no athletic code violations; played at least one (1) Waukesha North sport; have outstanding character.

Waukesha Women’s Club General Scholarship

  • Both female and male students may apply for this scholarship but the applicant MUST live in the city or town of Waukesha.  Applicant must be involved in school and community activities and plan to continue their education at a 2 or 4 year college. The student’s choice of study is optional. Award is 1 @ $1,000 and will go to one Waukesha North student.

Bob Bartholf Memorial Scholarship $500

  • In memory of Bob Bartholf, a former Northstar who attended Waukesha North in the 80’s.  Bartholf was an active member of the DECA program at Waukesha North, so this scholarship is to honor a current North student who has an interest in a career in business.  All applicants must have taken at least one credit within the Business Department, and plan to pursue a degree in a business-related field.  The applicant also must plan to attend a technical, two-year, or four-year college in the fall of 2019.

Waukesha Sunrise Rotary Club Bob Galitz Memorial Scholarship Application

  • SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS:

    Students who are a senior, a member of the Interact Club and graduating from Waukesha North High School can apply for this $1250 scholarship from the Waukesha Sunrise Rotary Club.  

    It can be typed or legibly hand written. This scholarship is for students who do not have a full academic or sports scholarship. Criteria for Bob Galitz Memorial Scholarship selection in order of most importance first.

    1. 2.75 or higher GPA in high school.
    2. Volunteer activities outside of school.
    3. Volunteer activities as part of school such as Interact, NHS, Key Club, or other volunteer opportunities in the high school.
    4. Work related experience that helps others.
    5. Essay of how their goals in life relate to the 4 way test.
    6. If two applicants have same amount of volunteer activities then financial need would be the tie breaker.

Elizabeth & Peter Dianich Memorial Scholarship $675

  • The Elizabeth & Peter Dianich Scholarship fund was created in 2006 to honor graduating seniors that will be continuing their formal education at an accredited post-secondary institution. Scholarship criteria: academics, school activities, community involvement, character, employment, etc.  Amount: 1 @ $675 and will go to one Waukesha North student.

Waukesha North Booster Club Scholarship

  • The Waukesha North Booster Club is proud to continue with its annual scholarship opportunity for college and technical school-bound student athletes. We are very pleased to announce the board will offer up to four (4) $750 scholarships. Applications can be obtained in the Activities Office, Student Services Office, or on the Booster Club section of the Waukesha North website. The awards will be presented at the Scholar Athlete Recognition Dinner in May. Purpose: Waukesha North Booster Club values effort and excellence. The scholarship committee seeks to recognize and award student athletes who have enriched their high school experience by participation in Northstar athletics while maintaining high academic achievement.

    Qualifications:

    • Cumulative 3.00+ GPA for the first 7 semesters
    • Must be attending post HS education in the fall
    • Parent(s) are members of the Booster Club
    • No Athletic Code Violations
    • Complete an essay question Essay Question (250 word minimum): Participating in sports encourages personal growth on many levels. Describe your most memorable experience in sports at WNHS and what you learned from that experience. Share how you will apply this to your near academic and future professional life.

  • This award is sponsored by retired Business Educator, Mrs. Diane Voit. Any North High School senior who is preparing for an education-related career (Early Childhood Education Assistant or Teacher, Elementary Education, Middle/High School Education, Special Education Teaching Assistant/Teacher, School Counselor, School Social Worker, Speech Pathologist, Communicative Disorders, etc.) may apply.

Carl Brylski Memorial Scholarship $1000

  • This Masonic lodge offers a $1000 scholarship to a graduating senior of Waukesha North High School who demonstrates a commendable record and the potential to successfully continue to achieve at a technical school. The recipient must show leadership ability and service as evidenced by school, community and church or synagogue involvement. There is no specific grade point requirement.

Bethesda Elementary School Scholarship $500

  • Bethesda students and families value higher education and want to support a graduating senior(s) from Waukesha West and/or Waukesha North High School with money for college. Must have attended Bethesda Elementary for at least four years, have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above and have been accepted to either a two (2) year or four (4) year college. The Bethesda Scholarship committee will review the applications with the Principal

  • This scholarship is open to ANY North senior. You do NOT have to be a member of Girl Talk.
