My name is Mrs. Schultz.  I have worked in education for 15 years and have been a Multi-Language Learner (MLL) teacher for the last 12 years.  I love learning about families and where they come from and what their customs are. 

Jacqueline Woodson is one of my favorite authors.  The Day You Begin is a story about differences, courage, and acceptance.  Other favorites of Woodson's include; Brown Girl Dreaming and Pecan Pie Baby.    

When I'm not at scool, I enjoy anything outdoors with my family (camping, biking, hiking, fishing, or just relaxing under a tree).  I am married to my husband Nick, and we have our son Owen.
