STEM Application/Enrollment Process

  • STEM Randall Enrollment Timeline 

    December 2021: Lottery Application Period opens 

    Attend a tour and complete online application. 

    January 2022:  Lottery Application period closes (date and time TBA)

    Only those with an application and tour complete by published date will be included in the lottery drawings

    January 2022: Lottery Drawings   (Date and time TBA) Randall Campus (114 S Charles St. Waukesha, WI 53186) Applicant Attendance is not required.

    There will be separate drawings for In-District and Out of District students. 

    In District Applicants will be notified of their acceptance or wait list position after the drawings.  If accepted, families will receive an acceptance email letter with a deadline to accept/commit to the seat.  If a student not yet enrolled in the school district accepts a seat, the family must also enroll that student with the School District of Waukesha by the deadline.

    Out of District Applicants will be placed on a separate wait list in the order drawn.  These applicants must apply for Open Enrollment at Once your open enrollment application is approved through the enrollment office (early June), you will receive a seat offer or updated wait list placement from Waukesha STEM Academy.  After accepting BOTH Open Enrollment to the School District of Waukesha, and a seat at Waukesha STEM Academy, the parent/guardian of the student, shall enroll their student with the School District of Waukesha Enrollment Office within 10 business days of those acceptances.

    February 2022: Post Lottery Application Period opens 

    Apply online to be placed on the waiting list or offered a remaining seat (if available).  

    2nd Day of School 2021 : Wait List Expires 

    Interested students can reapply during the next Lottery Enrollment Period (December 2023)
