What Does the PTO Do?
The PTO's objective is to support the school, staff and our students to provide the best community. We as parents and teachers can help with additional enrichment opportunities, events and activities throughout the year to our students. Essentially our goals include volunteerism of parents, encouragement of teachers and students, community involvement, and the welfare of students and families.
Last year the PTO supported the Scholastic Book Fair, Grandparents' Day, Lego League, Movie Night, Mother/Son and Fathr/Daughter Events, Sock Hop, the 5th Grade Musical and the Chicken BBQ. Monies raised from PTO fundraisers help to sponsor field trips, the Math in a Bag program, Teacher Appreciation Week, and Teacher Meals during Parent/Teacher conferences.
There are hundreds of hard working parents who make all of these activities and events happen. The end results are wonderful things for the children at Rose Glen Elementary. We welcome you to get involved and volunteer...and help our children!
DISCLOSURE: The Rose Glen PTO is a group of parents and staff members who organize programs and fundraisers to benefit the students at Rose Glen Elementary School.
