Generac Power Systems Expands Partnership with the Waukesha Education Foundation
The Waukesha Education Foundation, Inc. (WEF) continues to grow its support for educators and students in the School District of Waukesha thanks to new and expanding partnerships with local organizations, including Generac Power Systems.
Generac has been an annual sponsor of the Foundation since 2019. They recently increased their support of the Foundation by committing to a $5,000 Platinum Sponsorship to provide more resources to the WEF and the School District of Waukesha.
“We recognize the importance of a quality education,” stated Kelly Skindzelewski, Manager, Community Programs, Generac Power Systems. “The WEF provides needed resources that have a direct impact in classrooms and we are honored to support their efforts.”
Generac is a leading manufacturer of backup power generation products and prime power products, engine-powered tools and solar energy storage systems. Since its foundation in 1959, Generac has had a long-standing history of corporate giving through donating their time and resources to support their local communities by enhancing education at all levels.
“We are extremely grateful for Generac’s continued support,” said Lynnette Kalmadge, Executive Director, the Waukesha Education Foundation, Inc. “Their year-over-year increased commitment to our organization, the School District of Waukesha and our community is a great testament to the work that we do and their acknowledgement of this work. We greatly appreciate their commitment to education in their community.”
Each year, the WEF raises funds through community events and business partnerships to award grants to local educators for programming and resources that normally would not be covered in school budgets. In addition, they also have an extensive scholarship program for graduating seniors through both endowed and pass through scholarship funds.
