The School District of Waukesha, in partnership with 5-stones Fox Valley, invites all guardians and adult community members to an important educational presentation on Wednesday, September 23rd. Together, we will discuss human trafficking awareness, online safety, and practical ways we can protect our youth. The meeting will take place at the Butler Middle School Auditorium, 310 N. Hine Avenue, Waukesha., at 6:30 P.M.
About the "Innocence Sold" Program: Since 2023, the School District of Waukesha has partnered with 5-stones Fox Valley to deliver the "Innocence Sold" presentation to our seventh grade students. Now in its fourth year, this one-hour program aligns directly with our district’s commitment to student safety both online and offline.
Facilitated by trained former educators and supported by our Student Services team and classroom teachers, the presentation includes the educational film "Innocence Sold" followed by a guided discussion on child trafficking, exploitation, and digital safety. The presentations will begin in late September. Programming will continue across our other two middle schools throughout the first semester. Parents and guardians receive written notification prior to their school's presentation date, along with the opportunity to opt out their student if desired.

Key warning signs and tactics used by traffickers, particularly through online platforms.
Actionable strategies guardians can use at home to keep children safe.
Guidance on reporting suspected cases and accessing support resources.
A full demonstration of the curriculum utilized with our students.
