Calling all young astronomy and art enthusiasts! Join the Horwitz-DeRemer Planetarium for the very first session of “Art Among the Stars.” Jenny Carter, a FRIEND of the Horwitz-DeRemer Planetarium and passionate art enthusiast, will guide children ages 5–14 through a fun, step-by-step canvas painting of our galaxy, the Milky Way. Young artists will spark their creativity by enjoying the planetarium show “Treasures of the Milky Way” before bringing their own cosmic masterpiece to life. All supplies are provided, just bring your imagination!
