Tonight should be a good time to try & spot Mercury in the evening sky as it will appear to be at its farthest distance from the Sun. It will officially set at 5:51pm. You will have about one hour to catch Mercury in the Western sky, near the horizon.

We expect the sun to have another active solar cycle in 2025. What does that mean? More opportunities to view the beautiful Northern Lights! Join us today for "Aurora: Lights of Wonder!" We are able to present it because of the generosity of a local family's donation!
We will continue to keep you posted through social media this week. The weather doesn't look great right now for any of the potential days.
NEXT WEEK, weather permitting, our area can potentially view a Lunar Eclipse!
The lunar eclipse begins at 10:57pm on March 14th, maximum occurs at 1:26am on March 15th, and the eclipse ends at approximately 3:47am.
