3 of Jupiter’s 4 Galilean moons are putting on a show 2night! You’ll find this planet high in the SW an hour after sunset. Ganymede lies far to the W, while Io (closest) and Europa also sit W of the gas giant. Callisto is alone, just SE of Jupiter! Fingers crossed for clear skies

Jan. is coming to a close this week! We'll have a new set of Saturday shows for Feb. So, make sure to join us, if you can this weekend. If U haven't heard yet, WI will experience an eclipse on April 8th. You can learn more about this event at either of these eclipse shows!

Before the end of Jan., keep an eye on the SE in the early morning. Tonight the 2 planets (Mercury & Mars) will be ¼ of a degree apart & low to the SE about 45 mins. before sunrise. Mercury is brighter than Mars, but Venus substantially outshines them both. Try to check it out!

Tonight is the very first full moon of 2024. The January full moon is known in many cultures as the Full Wolf Moon. Wolves begin to howl more frequently & aggressively to establish their territory. So, don't forget to look up, or howl, at the moon tonight! :)
