Venus is back in the evening sky ✨

In March, it climbs higher and moves away from the Sun’s glare. Look low in the west after sunset—by month’s end, you can spot it about 30 minutes after the Sun goes down.

This beautiful show is on the schedule for today at 11am. Here's a little bit about ""A Place Like No Other."" Join us if you can!

Alaska is like no other place. For many, visiting is a lifelong dream; for those who live there, it’s a way of life to protect. Yet parts of this vast state remain so remote and wild that few have seen them. During the show, we’ll journey to these distant wildernesses to experience the iconic animals and landscapes that define the Last Frontier — the places that make Alaska, Alaska.

Tonight is the time to sneak a peek at Mercury if you can!

It is at its greatest elongation east, meaning the Sun & Mercury are the farthest apart in the sky. Start observing after the sun sets (5:29pm) & watch our smallest planet until it sets below the western horizon!

enjoyed your time at the planetarium and checking out
the nature activities that @friendsofretzernaturecenter

If you were able to take a peek at the night sky with our

to do so! Dan shared these images of M31-Orion
Nebula and M45-The Pleiades from his Seestar scope!
