Mars will rise in the E-NE around 11pm. It is not far from Pollux and Castor, the brightest stars in the constellation Gemini. Tomorrow night, take a peek to see a trio of objects in a vertical line in the eastern sky. Orion is to the right of them.

Let's add another to the list...Jupiter! Around this time of the month, our largest planet will be rising in the East around 9pm. Remember that you only need your eyes to see this bright.

Have you noticed that Halloween pictures always show a full Moon? How rare is a full moon on Halloween, exactly? That only happens every 18 to 19 years. The last time it occurred on Halloween night was in 2020.

Have you hiked the Purple Planetary Pathway yet?!
In August, with the help of local Scouts and volunteers, signs were installed along Retzer's purple loop to transform it into an "out of this world" hiking experience!

Do U want to see a meteor shower show? All U need to do is head to a dark sky location to try & see the Orionids. The next few nights are typically when they peak. The Orionids are visible through November 7th. Remember that Orionids will radiate from the constellation Orion!
