The Strawberry Moon arrives tonight! That is the name given to this month's full moon. By the name of this full moon you know that Strawberry picking is right around the corner....or for us in Wisconsin...has been in full swing for over a week!

Happy Summer...officially at 3:51pm! Our solstices are caused by a slight tilt in Earth’s axis in relation to the plane of its orbit- 23.5 degrees off-vertical. Northern hemisphere summer solstice occurs when the northern half has its closest tilt towards the Sun.

Did you know that Retzer Nature Center is celebrating its 50th anniversary?! We're excited & happy to be a part of their celebration on Sat., 6-22 from 3-9pm. There is FREE admission to this event with activities like music, beer garden, planetarium shows, & outdoor activities.

In case you didn't know, the moon reaches the new moon phase tonight! Therefore, if the weather cooperates, it would be an ideal night for stargazing!
You don't NEED to use anything fancy to see some cool stuff, just your eyes, a sky map/star finder, and some patience!
