Happy Fun Fact Friday! Here's a cool one!
The Moon is approximately 250,000 miles away from us. That distance is probably longer than you'd think! Recently, scientists calculated that the other 7 planets in the solar system could fit into the space between the Earth & Moon!

Calling all summer camps & child care centers? Are you finalizing your summer schedule? Do you need outing ideas? Why not bring your groups to us! Book a field trip and enjoy a show in our 94 seat air-conditioned dome! Contact us for more information!

Join us for a brand new show today!
""Treasures of the Milky Way"" highlights the beautiful sights in our summer skies. The show starts at 11am and will be followed by a star talk from one of our planetarium educators.

Better late than never! Here's our schedule for this week.
Our 11am show is NEW to our planetarium. ""Treasures of the Milky Way"" does a fantastic job of describing what you can see in our spring and summer sky!

Check out the full moon tonight! Because at this time of year spring flowers appeared in abundance, it should be no surprise that tonight's full moon is referred to as the Flower Moon! Other May full moon names are ""Milk Moon"", ""Hare Moon"", or ""Corn Planting Moon.""

For all the mothers and the mothers-at-heart, thank you for your care and kindness.
Happy Mother’s Day!

On this Mother's Day weekend, consider treating mom to a visit to the planetarium & perhaps also explore Retzer, too!
Today, we have two great shows on the schedule @ 11am or 1pm! Tickets are only $5 per person and can be purchased ahead of time at hdplanetarium.ticketleap.com!
