QUICK UPDATE:
The 11am showing of "3-2-1 Liftoff" is very close to selling out. We HIGHLY encourage you purchase tickets ahead of time to secure your seats.
If demand for the show allows, we are willing to offer it at 12pm, for patrons who aren't able to obtain tickets at 11am.

We had another great lineup today! Tickets were $5 a piece. But, you can become a "FRIEND of the Planetarium" and enjoy shows for the year for reasonable cost! Ask a planetarium educator about our different levels of membership, if you are interested!

On this date, back in 1965, Soviet cosmonaut Alexei Leonov became the1st person to leave a space capsule, & tethered to it, float freely in orbit to space walk! He was the pilot of the Voskhod 2 mission, which was part of the Soviet Union's competition w/ U.S. to reach the moon!
