For the next couple of mornings, before sunrise, the waning crescent moon will lie between Venus & Jupiter. The bright star Aldebaran is nearby a& adds to this intriguing celestial scene. On 7- 23, the moon will be below Venus & close to Jupiter.

Secure your tickets for one of three shows on Friday night to see Jason Achilles's one-of-a-kind show at hdplanetarium.ticketleap.com. Jason worked with NASA to design a microphone for the Mars Perseverance rover!

During his show, Jason shares personal experiences with NASA, recordings from the Martian surface, high resolution audio-video of rocket launches and his own soundscapes set to immersive dome video and animation!

Want to take a peek at Sagittarius tonight? Look towards the Moon!

The moon will rise in the east opposite the sunset & will hang near the Teapot asterism of Sagittarius. The Teapot might be difficult to spot because of the moon’s brightness.

Take a peek at the full moon tonight! In July, the Full Moon is the Buck Moon, named after the new antlers that emerge from a buck’s forehead around this time of the year. It is also called Thunder Moon, Hay Moon, and Wyrt Moon.
