Have a great Thoughtful Thursday, everyone!
Don't forget! Summer is the best time to try and see the Milky Way in the night sky...viewing away from city lights will be helpful to see our galaxy.

It's Wednesday...which means we have TWO opportunities for you to catch a planetarium show today!
11am- It's About Time: Cosmic Cycles We Live By
1pm- CapCom Go! The Apollo Story

Summer is the best time for seeing the Milky Way. Observers will need to travel to a dark area, to see the dim glow of the galaxy. Another way to increase your chances to viewing our galaxy is to observe on the evenings surrounding the new moon when the sky is the darkest!

Welcome Summer!
The sun will rise at 5:12am and will set at 8:34pm. Enjoy all those extra minutes of summertime happiness!

The best opportunity of 2025 to spot the planet Mercury starts tonight. There’s a short window of time to look for the planet closest to the Sun, approximately 45 minutes after sunset. Try looking low in the W-NW around 9:15 pm. Mercury gets a little higher each evening.
