We have a pair of great planetarium shows Saturdays this month! At 11am, we have "Khrumka's Adventure in the Winter Forest." At 1pm, come check out the ""new-to-us"" show "Mars: The Ultimate Voyage." Tickets are $5 per person & can be purchased at hdplanetarium.ticketleap.com.
Orion usually gets the most attention in the winter sky, but it’s not the only constellation worth studying. To the Hunter’s north is Auriga, a large, roughly circular constellation whose brightest star is magnitude 0.1 Capella.

Our holiday break schedule starts today. What does that mean? We scheduled extra planetarium shows on Wednesday-Friday this week. Today, we're featuring Sunstruck at 11am & at 1pm, we'll show Khrumka's Adventure in the Winter Forest. Walk-ins welcome, but we do fill up fast.
Tonight, the full moon occurs at 6:33pm CST. And, not surprising, one of the December full moon name is "Cold Moon." It is also referred to as "Full Long Nights Moon" #wherethestarshangout

"Wow...Christmas Eve is tomorrow! There's no better time to visit us for a little holiday happiness! Shows tomorrow include: George & Oatmeal Save Santa & Season of Light at 11am. At 1pm, we have Mystery of the Christmas Star. We recommend that you purchase early.
