Tonight is Retzer Nature Center's Wild Winter Night! The Horwitz-DeRemer Planetarium is excited to be showing "Star Signs" tonight. There are a variety of activities planned for the evening, indoors and out! Hope to see you tonight at Wild Winter Night!

Keep your eyes on the evening skies for a full moon TOMORROW! It should be no surprise that Native Americans named the February full moon the Snow Moon. Why? Because the heaviest shows usually fell during this month. Some tribes also referred to this Moon as the Full Hunger Moon

Turn your eyes to the winter skies! Sirius the Dog Star blazes well up in the southeast by mid-evening. It's the brightest star of Canis Major. Through the light pollution, only his 5 brightest stars are easily visible. These form the Meat Cleaver.
