If you want to catch the view of a planet this month...Venus is easier to spot due to its brilliance, particularly if you have a clear eastern horizon. Look for it about 30 minutes before sunrise for best viewing!

As a nod to the one year anniversary of the solar eclipse yesterday, let's check out the show that was a favorite during eclipse season in 2025. Join us at 11am for ""Totality: Explore the Wonder of Eclipses."" It's a great show with terrific information!

Do you remember where you were one year ago today?!
It was the Great American Solar Eclipse! We had a beautiful day for viewing in Wisconsin and lots of people gathered here at the planetarium to celebrate. If you took any pictures, share them in the comments!
Don't forget to mark your calendars for the next Total Solar Eclipse in Wisconsin...it will be on September 14th, 2099! 🤯

Another sign that warmer weather *should* be around the corner....the summer triangle has returned! If you are awake around 2am, you may be able to catch a peek in the E! As we head towards summer, it will be visible earlier in the evening!

Check out Mars near the constellation Gemini this month! It appears to be not far from the ""twin stars"" Pollux and Castor. Tomorrow night, Mars is near a waxing gibbous Moon! Try your best of catch the sights!

Last call to get a glimpse of winter's bright stars! Look towards the SW to check out Sirius (Canis Major), Rigel (Orion), Betelgeuse (Orion), & Aldebaran (Taurus).
All of these stars are low in the sky and are getting ready to set.

The 11am showing of "3-2-1 Liftoff" is very close to selling out. We HIGHLY encourage you purchase tickets ahead of time to secure your seats.
If demand for the show allows, we are willing to offer it at 12pm, for patrons who aren't able to obtain tickets at 11am.
