Jupiter will rise at sunset & be up all night tonight, shining at a brilliant magnitude of –2.8, giving Venus a run for its money. This is the best time all year to see it, and even through binoculars, you can see its four largest moons and some of its striped clouds.

A few weeks ago, on a snowy Thursday, Planetarium team Lisa & Kelly traveled to Lambeau Field. It wasn't for a Packer game but for a grant from the Green Bay Packer Foundation! The money will be used to improve our audio system for those with hearing impairments. #PackersGiveBack

Fun Fact Friday! Did you know that full moons on Thanksgiving are extremely rare? Thanksgiving can fall anywhere between Nov. 20-30, while the full moon in November can occur any day. The last time we had a Thanksgiving full moon was in 1920. It will not happen again until 2069!
