WOW, what an AWESOME group of student & adult volunteers. Shout out to the South SALT (Student Athlete Leadership Team) who got our pie sort done in 35 minutes & then stayed to help load cars, organize special delivery groups and clean up! WOW, so grateful for great students!
Our May 2022 grant recipients have submitted their follow up reports and over the next several weeks we will be sharing the outcomes of their projects. First up is Devante from @Hawthorne! His grant expanded the physical education tumbling and gymnastics unit. #WEFGrantsWorked
Last night, the WEF was proud to present a symbolic check for $50,000 to the School District of Waukesha and School Board President Dr. Kelly Piacsek, representing the classroom grant awards announced in May of 2023, for implementation during the 23/24 school year. These dollars are coming alive in classrooms across the SDW and we can't wait to see them take flight!
