Introducing Janaka Subotnik! Believe it or not, Janaka joined us as an our intern while she was in college, and not only serves as our Board Vice President, she also chairs our Grants & Raffle/Auctions teams. She is always willing to jump in & we appreciate her time and talents!

Next shout out goes to Gina Nordrum! Gina has served on the WEF board for the last two years & has been an educator in the SDW for over 22 years! She is one of the most positive & helpful people you'll ever meet & is active on several committees AND co-chairs our Golf Outing.
It's Valentine's Day, so can we share that we love Manisha Nabke? She has been on our board for several years & now serves as our Board Secretary. She helps out with multiple events, is the best task-master & is also incredibly organized. She's an incredible advocate for WEF!
Next up: Victor Frasher! Victor is starting his second term on our Board. He brings a positive energy, great ideas & is always wiling to contribute. His passion for education is also evident in his role as the Director of Community Engagement at Educators Credit Union.

Hadfield Elementary School students in need of additional support and resources have benefited from a May 2022 WEF grant. The student services team’s toolbox was expanded, helping students further develop their social emotional and self-regulation skills. #WEFGrantsWorked
A popular space at the Waukesha STEM Academy Elementary Campus is the school’s makerspace. A May 2022 WEF grant has added new building-related supplies to the space’s inventory of items that are available for students to use to make creations. #WEFGrantsWorked
