November is Homeless Awareness Month. Next week 11/10-11/14, National Honor Society will be collecting items for our community agencies that assist individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Waukesha. Bring in Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Laundry Detergent (PODS requested), Disinfectant Wipes, Deodorant, and Dish Soap. Drop off items in the bin by the Northstar sign in the atrium or cafeteria.

Students wear green on Tuesday to show your support for helping people experiencing homelessness.

I am pleased to announce that Mr. Jacob Forystek has been offered and accepted the position of Head Wrestling Coach at Waukesha North High School. Coach Forystek has been a Special Education Teacher at Waukesha South High School since 2007 and has been an assistant coach with the Waukesha South wrestling program. Prior to coming to the School District of Waukesha, he was the head wrestling coach at Milwaukee Washington High School. Before that, he served in a variety of assistant coach roles. Coach Forystek looks forward to being involved at Waukesha North in what he calls the “the greatest sport.” He is eager to foster character, responsibility, confidence, grit and integrity in student-athletes on and off the mat.

Join us this evening as we host an additional parent/community Information Sharing session at 6:00 PM at Horning Middle School. We will discuss our newest Options E, F, and G, as well as our progress to date on this long-range planning work. A QR code will be used to collect questions and then answer them in themed groupings to the best of our ability.
