Meteor Shower
The KING of meteor showers peaks tonight. Astronomers estimate that up to 120 meteors per hour could be visible as we have nearly a new moon throughout the entire night sky. These meteors are known to last a little bit longer- lasting up to 2 secs. SOURCE: adlerplanetarium.org

"In case you didn't know, the moon reaches the new moon phase tonight! Therefore, if the weather cooperates, it would be an ideal night for stargazing! You don't NEED to use anything fancy to see some cool stuff, just your eyes, a sky map/star finder, and some patience!
