Did U know eclipses of the Sun & Moon come in pairs? When an eclipse of 1 occurs, an eclipse of the other is about 2 weeks before or after! Since Sun, Moon, & Earth will be in the proper orbital alignment for the solar eclipse (New Moon) & lunar eclipse (Full Moon).
We are just over 2 weeks away from the Great American Solar Eclipse ! So, we have some opportunities tomorrow to get you READY!

We are less than one month away from the Great American Sola Eclipse on April 8th, 2024. So, the Horwitz-DeRemer Planetarium has some opportunities today to get you READY this lovely Saturday!

Starting tonight thru 3-31, try to see the usually hard-to-spot planet Mercury. It’s the smallest planet & closest to the Sun, so it’s often invisible due to the Sun’s glaring brightness. But now, Mercury’s distance from the Sun becomes just far enough away to catch a glimpse.
Happy birthday, Albert Einstein! According to our math, this would be Einstein's 145th birthday today, also known as Pi Day!
