One of the district wide programs that has implemented a May 2022 grant is SDW Environmental Education. With this project, students have been able to take their learning outside by using outdoor classroom spaces or outdoor exploration tools and kits. #WEFGrantsWorked
WEF is glad to see that a May 2022 grant has provided support for Prairie Elementary through the creation of a small library. Students are able to choose a book that will help them resolve and repair the conflict connected to the problem they are facing. #WEFGrantsWorked

Bilingual programming has been well-received by staff and students that visit the Horwitz-Deremer Planetarium. Thanks to a WEF grant awarded in May 2022, they were able to add another show in Spanish to their offerings. #WEFGrantsWorked

WOW, what an AWESOME group of student & adult volunteers. Shout out to the South SALT (Student Athlete Leadership Team) who got our pie sort done in 35 minutes & then stayed to help load cars, organize special delivery groups and clean up! WOW, so grateful for great students!
