Today we enjoyed an awesome lunch as we learned about the Embedded Agriculture program & the outcomes of the '23 Grant "Farm To Classroom-Partnering Local Environmental Education Programs with Culinary Education." This program impacted all three high schools. #WEFGrantsWorked







Today we checked out the '23 Grant "STEM FLIGHT LAB" which provided drones to the STEM-Whittier campus. Students got to take their drones on their first flight! This project was funded through WEF & Generac Power Systems through the Classroom Connect program. #WEFGrantsWorked

Introducing Janaka Subotnik! Believe it or not, Janaka joined us as an our intern while she was in college, and not only serves as our Board Vice President, she also chairs our Grants & Raffle/Auctions teams. She is always willing to jump in & we appreciate her time and talents!


Next is Dr. Gene Shoemaker, our Board President. Gene has served on our board in many capacities, for many years. He serves on multiple committees, his dental practice is one of our Annual Sponsors & he is always willing to help with ANYTHING that we need! Thank you Gene!


Next up is Dr Jim Sebert, the Superintendent in the SDW. While he is a non-voting member on our Board, he provides us with valuable input on how we can best impact opportunities in the District. He has jumped in with both feet and is always very engaged! Thank you, Jim!
